EU AI advisers urge drastic action

Notes from an April closed-door meeting, seen by Euractiv, indicate significant concern among EU AI advisers regarding Europe's competitive position. This project, with an EC maximum contribution of over €8.9 million, is designed to support research excellence in Europe consistent with ethical values.

Further efforts include projects such as dAIEDGE, which focuses on strengthening the European edge and distributed Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. This network of excellence aims to reinforce research and innovation value chains to accelerate digital and green transitions through advanced edge AI technologies.
